LOMPOC – On Sunday, 16 October 2022, the parish of La Purisima Concepcion, 213 W. Olive Avenue, will be having their annual Fall Festival from 11am until 5pm on the school grounds. There will be games, bounce houses, entertainment, cake walks, silent auctions, food, and much more.

LOMPOC – On the second Tuesday of every month, the Catholic Daughters of the parish of La Purisima Concepcion, 213 W. Olive Avenue, has their monthly meeting at 12:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 523 E. Chestnut. Meetings begin with the recitation of the rosary.

SANTA BARBARA – Beginning on Saturday, 1 October 2022, the parish of Mission Santa Barbara, 2201 Laguna Street, will celebrate the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi with a “Franciscan Fiesta“, four days of special events celebrating the Franciscan
heritage of the parish.
- Saturday, 1 October 2022: A Morning of Reflection: Journeying with St. Francis and St. Clare with the Secular Franciscans (St. Louis the King fraternity), Sister Susan Blomstad, OSF, and Fr. Joe Schwab, OFM, from 9:30am until 1:30pm in Bonaventure Hall. Attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch. Beverages will be provided. - Sunday, 2 October 2022: Outdoor Mass and Blessing of the Animals at 11am in the Mission Plaza. Animals welcome!
- Monday, 3 October 2022: Transitus – An Evening Service of Remembrance at 7pm in the Mission Church. This traditional service of prayer and music recalls the passing of Saint Francis of Assisi into eternal life. A reception will follow in the Sacred Garden, featuring the almond pastries so dear to Francis in his last days.
- Tuesday, 4 October 2022: Masses for the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi will be celebrated at 8am and at 5:30pm in the Mission Church. A wine and hors d’oeuvres reception in the Sacred Garden will follow the evening Mass.
A delicious lunch will be served and there will be many beautiful raffle items.

SANTA BARBARA – On Saturday, 24 September 2022, the parish of San Roque, 325 Argonne Circle, will be having a Parish Family BBQ complete with Oktoberfest Beer.
BBQ food will be prepared by Butch Arnoldi and beer will be donated by the parish Dad’s Club.

SANTA BARBARA – On Wednesday, 14 September 2022, the parish of Holy Cross, 1740 Cliff Drive, will celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross with a Procession beginning at 6:30pm, followed by a bilingual Mass at 7pm, and hospitality on the plaza at 8pm.
SANTA BARBARA – On Saturday, 22 October 2022, the parish of Mission Santa Barbara, 2201 Laguna Street, will be having the Mission Moonlight BBQ: “Gems and Jeans” in the St Francis Courtyard (exact time not yet published).
“Join the Franciscan Friars and staff of Old Mission Santa Barbara for a fun-filled evening of sunset hors d’oeuvres, dinner, wine, auction, and live entertainment…”
Cost is $250 per ticket. All proceeds from this event support the conservation of the Mission’s historic buildings and gardens, as well as the art and artifacts in the collections of Old Mission Santa Barbara and the Santa Bárbara Mission Archive-Library.
